Still Riding the High from Mexi Log Fest

Still Riding the High from Mexi Log Fest

We knew Mexi Log Fest 2025 would be something special. What unfolded on the beaches of Los Pinos, Mazatlán was something far deeper. Yes, we came on as sponsors. But we left feeling part of a movement—a collective energy that transcended surf and sand. This wasn’t just a week in the waves. It was a study in connection, a meditation on motion, and a celebration of soul. The feeling has stayed with us.

There were waves, of course—clean lines, soft peelers, effortless longboarding. But that wasn’t the heart of it. What resonated most was the atmosphere: open, unguarded, quietly electric. Surfers arrived from all over the world, not to compete, but to commune in the energy and culture that is Mazatlán. To lift each other up. To move with, not against. It was disarmingly honest. And unmistakably rare.

The women, in particular, captured something profound. Every ride—graceful, strong, unapologetically individual—felt like a living embodiment of everything we design for. They moved with an ease and certainty that echoed the Dos Gardenias ethos: power without noise, edge without effort.

It was happenstance, that our SS25 campaign muse and Hawaiian ohana, Kahealani Papke was in the lineup. Official event photographer Dom Stone caught some waves with her and captured the bold, free spirit of the festival and the pure essence of post salt spray joy rides at Los Pinos.

We arrived to support—but left feeling supported. By a community rooted in authenticity. By a shared devotion to craft and self-expression. By a belief in making space for one another to simply show up and be.

At Dos Gardenias, swimwear is never just swimwear. It’s a second skin. A signal. A choice to move through the world with clarity, confidence, and conviction. Mexi Log Fest was a poignant reminder that style is about presence. About intention. About owning the way you move—and honoring how others move, too.

This wasn’t just a partnership. It was alignment. With creators and thinkers and surfers and seekers who are redefining what it means to belong. Our gratitude and props to Mexi Log El Patrón: Izzy Preciado for another meaningful and memorable event. Until next year, Mexi Log Fest. We’re holding this one close.
